Alberta Charolais Summer Tour June 29, 2019 

The Alberta Charolais Summer Tour is taking place this year in northern Alberta.
This is a very exciting tour the ACA host that gives everyone a chance to see premium quality cattle at 3 different farms in Alberta.

Our first stop we will be touring Lakeview Charolais, with guests Good Anchor Charolais, Misty Hill Charolais and XXX Farms Breakfast at the farm
Our second stop we will be touring K-Cow Ranch with guests Sherwood Farms and Popular Bluff Lunch at the farm
Our third stop will be touring Sugarloaf Charolais with supper at the farm

There will be 2 bus’s leaving at 8:00 AM from Pomeroy Inn & Suites Vermilion

Players Club 2018 Champions

Congratulations  goes to Springside Farms who won the $50,000 at Players Club Champion Bull Calf Futurity, on November 8th in Edmonton at Farmfair International 2018. SOS Apex Pld 139F, sired by LT Ledger 0332 P was the bull winning the vote count from over 45 participants judging, with 28 bull calves being shown in six splits.

Congratulations  goes to  Prairie Cove Charolais who won the $10,000 at the Pair of Heifer calves in the National Charolais show on November 9th in Edmonton at Farmfair International 2018. Miss Prairie Cove 806F & 810F are flush mates by TR PZC Mr Turton 0794 ET out of the Miss Prairie Cove 407B female.

The Alberta Charolais Association was incorporated in 1964 in order to strengthen its members in the areas of cattle promotion, breed improvement and continuous education. The Alberta Charolais Association continues this tradition of assisting its breeder members and associates in realizing all the value that is to be gained by use of Charolais cattle and by their participation in the Association’s activities.

The Alberta Charolais Association is a non-profit breed organization which has worked to serve its members in the areas of cattle promotion, breed improvement and continuous education of its breeder members and associates.

The Alberta Charolais Association (A.C.A.) currently has 230 members, many of whom have been breeding Charolais cattle since 1961 and have seen second and third generations continue the family business and tradition in the Charolais breed. The business of the Alberta Charolais Association is conducted by a volunteer group of directors who are A.C.A. members and Charolais breeders.
