Commercial Cattle

We background and grass 500-600 heifers annually. A large percentage is Charolais cross with the rest being continental breed crosses. At home they receive a full vaccination program. They are bunk trained and silage fed, so when they come off pasture, they are ready for the feedlot. Our pasture is located near Maryfield, Saskatchewan, where they graze from late April until early September. We sell them direct off the ranch, usually late August or early September.
