Bryce, Wanda,
Dena & Wyatt Burnett |

Our grandfather, Walter Burnett ventured to Canada from Scotland in 1904 to herd sheep for the 76 Ranch in the Swift Current area. In 1907 Walter and Jane Burnett homesteaded the farm where we now live. My father David and his brother John continued on the farm. My boyhood days flourish with memories of my cousins, Lester, Lyle & I helping on the farm and later on growing into the farm each in our own different ways. Today, Bryce is the 3rd generation of Burnett's to reside on the homestead and Wyatt is the 4th. We started into the Tarentaise breed in 1972. Recently we have ventured into Black Angus and a few Red Angus cattle. Over the last few years we have expanded our Black Angus herd through AI and embryo transplant programs. We have aggressively established a very functional purbred Angus herd. |
